13Meet the Staff - Christie!
Hi everybody! I’m Christie. I was born and raised in Stillwater, Minnesota, a small town on the river. Then I moved off to Scottsdale, Arizona to study interior design. In Arizona, I enjoyed hiking Pinnacle Peak in North Scottsdale and the red rock mountains of Sedona. I enjoyed the views of the beautiful scenery and the amazing homes. This year I moved off to the great city of New York! I started working at Pink and fell in love with the place and the people who I met. We are in a really cool art deco neighborhood and I’ve met many amazing people from other design students to amazing women with so many different talents. My favorite thing about Pink (besides the cool people I work with) is being in the city where I can visit museums, window shop, and just enjoy walking around the city and checking out the historic architecture. My favorite New York spots are Washington Square Park and Central Park South. The entrance to Washington Square Park is a triumphal arc and it leads into a fountain that you can hang out in at night because they turn the water off. There are always people singing and dancing. My other favorite place, Central Park South, is anchored by 5th Ave and Columbus Circle. The walk from 5th Ave to Columbus Circle is on the south side of Central Park and is lined with horse and carriages as well as some of New York’ s finest hotels.
